We don’t question going to the garage and paying for a tune-up for our car - or new winter tyres. We know by doing that we keep our car in a better condition for longer, enhancing its safety, performance and resale value.

Yet I am always stunned at how little as a society we spend on our own health and wellness in terms of sickness and disease prevention - not just in terms of dollars, in terms of time and education as well.
